‌I . Introduction

Pillar winch, also known as slow winch, is used for returning pillars and releasing tops in underground coal mining face. Because of its low height and light weight, it is especially suitable for thin seam and sharp inclined seam coal mining face, as well as all kinds of coal mining face to recover the metal pillar sunk into the bottom plate or buried by gangue. With the improvement of mechanized coal mining, it is more and more widely used in mechanized coal mining face, as the installation, recovery and hauling of various equipment and spare parts. The main models are: JH-5, JH-8, JH-14, JH-20, JH-30.

II . Safe Operation Procedures

1. Preparation

(1) Tools: small hammer, long-handled hook.

(2) Spare parts and accessories: oil pot, screws.

2. Inspection and Treatment

(1) Whether the top, roadway and support near the winch is safe, and whether there is any accumulation of debris affecting the operation;

(2) Whether the winch is firmly installed, whether the pressure column and bumping column are firm and strong;

(3) Whether the electrical equipment is properly set up and easy to operate;

(4) winch equipment parts, bolts, washers, shields, etc. are complete and firm, commonly used gate is flexible;

(5) winch gearbox and bearing oil quality is qualified, whether the oil is sufficient, whether no oil leakage;

(6) Whether the wire rope is fixed firmly on the drum, whether the row of ropes is neat, whether the area of broken wire within a twist distance is more than 10 % of the total broken area of the original wire rope;

(7) Whether the signaling device is sensitive and reliable; problems must be properly dealt with. Otherwise, operation is not allowed.

3. Test Run

(1) Before the test drive should be placed on the switch, bell near the gate handle, in order to facilitate the operation;

(2) 2 ~ 3 times forwards and backwards test rotation;

(3) to arrange the wire rope on the drum neatly, tight rope with a small hammer or hook with a handle to lead the rope, not allowed to use their hands or feet along the rope, so as to avoid wire rope stranded mess;

(4) Contact with back to the column worker with a signal, test its accuracy.

(4) to mental concentration, pay attention to hear the signal, according to back to the column signal to drive, stop, reverse and other operations. It is not allowed to move away from the winch when driving, and stand behind the guard post.

5. When stopping under normal circumstances, should use mechanical gate to stop after power failure, not allowed to hit the reverse parking. Motor, sliding bearing temperature of 65 ℃, to stop to find out the reason, such as temperature drop before driving.

6. Precautions for Signaler (spotter):

(1) listen to the command of the column back to the worker, signaling quickly and accurately;

(2) Concentrate, pay close attention to the wire rope running direction, when the wire rope running direction is found to be wrong, should immediately issue a stop signal, and re-issue the correct signal;

(3) Signaler always and back to the column to maintain a distance of 5 ~ 8 meters, with the position of the column back to defer and change the working position, and close the cable;

(4) when adjusting the working position, should hold the signaling device, not allowed to lift the signaling line, so as not to damage the signaling line connector, resulting in accidents.

7. When a stuck rope is found, operate according to the following requirements

(1) Take out the jammed wire rope with the assistance of returning column workers and pulley watchers;

(2) Use the crowbar or other tools to pry up the stuck wire rope, if necessary, can be supplemented by manpower to lift the rope;

(3) After stretching the wire rope, use the big hook of the rope head (or the card card) to tie it to the solid pillar and then drive the reversing car, so as to loosen the stuck wire rope;

(4) when driving reverse to deal with the stuck rope, such as the wire rope pulled to the winch drum side rope is still not loosened, should stop, so as not to damage or break the wire rope;

(5) driving reversing to deal with the card rope accident, the site personnel should retreat to a safe place.

(8) back to the column winch driver in the team leader or back to the column worker has completed the task notification, before starting to finish the work.

(1) Wrap all the wire rope around the drum;

(2) cut off the power supply, the switch handle in the power-off position, lock the locking bolt;

(3) Improve the environmental hygiene around the winch;

(4) Assist the signalman to coil the signal cable;

(5) Pack up the tools.

3.JH-14 Column Winch

(1). Product introduction

The type of JH-14 column winch is single cylinder winding, adopting worm gear reducer and open gear drive. It is used for underground pillar return and roof release. (2). Scope of use

JH-14 column winch should be used in ambient temperature of -10℃~+40℃, relative temperature of the environment does not exceed 95% (+25℃), the altitude does not exceed 1000m.
